Alabama Business Law and Litigation Lawyer for Businesses and Individuals.

Richard Greer, Principal of THE GREER LAW FIRM, P.C., began practicing law in a small, general practice law firm located in a small town in Shelby County, Alabama. His small town practice included general civil litigation, collections, real estate law, family law, and worker’s compensation law. Three years later, after joining a business law and litigation firm in Birmingham, Alabama, his practice areas changed to concentrate on business, commercial litigation and general civil litigation, bankruptcy litigation, commercial collections, construction litigation, employee benefits litigation (ERISA), employment litigation, and real estate law and litigation.

In 1995, Mr. Greer formed his own Alabama business law and litigation firm in Birmingham, Alabama. The Firm’s Alabama business law and litigation practice concentrates on business, contract, and commercial litigation, commercial collections, construction litigation, employment law and litigation (employer only), lease law and litigation (commercial and residential), and non-compete/non-disclosure law. A more detailed description of each practice area may be found by clicking on the following links to other pages of this website:

Although THE GREER LAW FIRM, P.C., has experience in successfully litigating and resolving complex matters involving substantial sums of money, it is equally well-equipped and able to handle virtually all business and contract law disputes and litigation confronted by the individuals and international, national, regional and local companies it represents throughout Alabama. The Firm also represents individuals and businesses in non-litigation matters, including contract negotiation, document preparation, and litigation-avoidance practices. The broad diversity of Mr. Greer’s background and experience in handling matters for businesses and individuals fosters a multi-disciplinary approach in litigating and resolving disputes and in anticipating and understanding issues as they develop.
